Programs for Adults
Faribault Adult Education strives to empower all students and to enhance the quality of life as workers, family members, and citizens.
Adult Education helps learners to:
- become employed or get a better job
- graduate from high school (GED, Adult Diploma)
- learn skills to go to college
- learn to speak, read and write English
- become a US citizen
- gain self-esteem and confidence
Faribault Adult Education provides a variety of courses for students living in the Faribault area free of cost to the student.

Project ABLE provides educational and recreational programming for adults with disabilities in Rice County. Project ABLE is operated as a consortium between Northfield and Faribault Public School Districts.
Classes and programs are designed with differential cognitive , physical and social abilities. From bowling leagues to field trips to dine in mystery restaurants, to playing bingo and making arts and crafts.
