The Faribault Public Schools Community Education Advisory Council consists of a broad cross-section of community members who help provide high-level oversight to the district’s Community Education Department.
The Advisory Council meets quarterly. Key expectations for members include:
- Attend scheduled meetings
- Serve as a representative of Community Education
- Listen to community needs and concerns and share and discuss them with the Council
- Provide creative thinking
- Encourage community involvement in the Community Education processes and programs
